Hi! We are the Lim's, the family behind Suetly Tallow.
Suetly Tallow was born from a mother’s determination to help her family heal — naturally, gently, and beautifully.
Our story began when both our son and daughter developed dry, red, and painfully itchy skin that left them restless every night. As a mum, it was heartbreaking to watch them struggle, trying one cream after another — only to find temporary relief. I knew there had to be a better way.
Drawing on my background in Biomedical Science and my family’s roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine, I turned to nature in search of answers. That journey led me to the remarkable healing power of tallow — a time-honoured ingredient once prized for its ability to deeply nourish, protect, and restore the skin’s natural balance.
I began blending tallow with soothing, restorative herbs — creating formulations that were safe, gentle, and genuinely effective for even the most sensitive skin. But I didn’t want to simply recreate old remedies; I wanted to reimagine them for the modern family. To take what was once considered plain and traditional, and transform it into something simple, elegant, and enjoyable — skincare that feels as beautiful as it looks, and as nurturing as it is effective.
What began as a personal quest soon became a family passion. The transformation in our children’s skin was extraordinary — calmer, softer, and visibly healthier.
